When the pandemic started a lot of businesses got hurt, but at the same time, a lot of opportunities for entrepreneurs were born.
Vertical, a company specialized in doing high-altitude construction work with the highest security standards, got hit with the impossibility to work because of the government lockdown measures, so their owners had to get highly creative. That’s how Minuscular was born, a clothing brand designed to protect people using cutting edge nano technology.
We worked with this client from positioning, naming, visual and verbal identity all through digital presence, including social media collaterals and website design.
Big things
have small beginnings.
During the naming phase we explored the possibility to go for a more generic option using the nano technology aspect of the product as a starting point, but one of the business objectives was to sell the product internationally in the future, and because there were already many brands that took that route we decided to take a different approach. Looking to strike a balance between abstract and direct names, we created something that could differentiate in the category but that also was easy to remember.
For the logo we took direct inspiration from what the product was helping to fight, germens, playing with the initial letter M to create the iso.
In order to positionate the brand in the premium spectrum we mixed security and high tech concepts, taking inspiration from the medical category to create a color palette that gave the brand a clean, modern and trustful look and feel.
